Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Serverminded ("we", "us") collects when you use serverminded.com, and your choices. We keep data collection to a minimum.
What we collect
- No accounts, no personal data. The public site has no sign-up, login, or forms that ask for your personal information.
- Server logs. Like most websites, our servers and our CDN (Cloudflare) automatically record technical data - IP address, browser/user-agent, requested page, timestamp - to keep the site secure and running. These logs are kept for a short period and are not used to identify you.
- Aggregate analytics. We may use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics (for example Matomo) to see which guides are useful. It does not build an advertising profile of you or track you across other sites.
Affiliate links and third parties
When you click an outbound link to a retailer (for example, Amazon) or to one of our focused sites, you leave Serverminded and that site's own privacy policy and cookies apply. A retailer may set a cookie to attribute a purchase to us (see our Affiliate Disclosure). We do not receive your personal data from these purchases - only aggregate commission reports.
Your rights
If you are in the EU or UK, the GDPR and UK GDPR give you rights over your personal data, including access, correction, and erasure. Because we hold essentially no personal data about visitors beyond transient server logs, there is normally nothing to act on - but you can contact us with any request.
Children
Serverminded is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

We may update this policy; the "last updated" date above reflects the current version.
